Places offered and first preferences: DfE, Primary and secondary school applications and offers (school level, Open Government Licence). "Put it first, not offered it" is DfE's number of first preferences less its number of first-preference offers. Applicants refused: Solihull's own offer-day tables, where we hold them; "not held" means we do not have the figure, not that it was nought.

Moving to Solihull mid-year

Apply to the council, for any school. The council's School Admission Team processes in-year applications for all community, voluntary aided, voluntary controlled schools and academies except WMG Academy for Young Engineers Solihull, which is contacted directly. Apply online (plus a previous school information form) or on a paper form.

  • Decision: "We will contact your preference schools to find out if there is a place and will provide you with an update within 15 school days of receiving your completed application."
  • Proof of address: Separate 'Proof of address and moving home' page.

From Solihull's own in-year admissions page (Not stated.): read it there before you apply, as arrangements change each year.
