Places offered and first preferences: DfE, Primary and secondary school applications and offers (school level, Open Government Licence). "Put it first, not offered it" is DfE's number of first preferences less its number of first-preference offers. Applicants refused: Stoke-on-Trent's own offer-day tables, where we hold them; "not held" means we do not have the figure, not that it was nought.

Moving to Stoke-on-Trent mid-year

Apply to each school directly. Parents start an application on the council's online portal, but the council's Admissions Team does not coordinate in-year transfers: each school manages its own applications, decisions and (in some cases) appeals, as set out on its website. The council advises on the nearest school with a place if refused.

From Stoke-on-Trent's own in-year admissions page (Not stated.): read it there before you apply, as arrangements change each year.
