What happened at each school last year

The published figures from last year's offers. They describe what happened then, school by school. They are not a forecast, and they say nothing about any one family's case. Waiting lists are kept in the order of each school's admission criteria (School Admissions Code 2021, 2.15).

Places offered and first preferences: DfE, Primary and secondary school applications and offers (school level, Open Government Licence). "Put it first, not offered it" is DfE's number of first preferences less its number of first-preference offers. Applicants refused: Harrow's own offer-day tables, where we hold them; "not held" means we do not have the figure, not that it was nought.

Moving to Harrow mid-year

Apply to the council, for any school. Apply through the council's Education Portal for up to six schools; offers come by letter from the council, and Harrow residents unplaced get the nearest school with a vacancy. Faith schools also need a Supplementary Information Form sent to the school. No schools named as running their own in-year admissions.

  • Proof of address: Non-Harrow council tax payers upload one document: estate agent tenancy agreement, housing benefit letter, or solicitor's letter on a Harrow purchase; else a letter from the council tax payer plus two listed documents. Utility bills and bank statements not accepted.

From Harrow's own in-year admissions page (2026-27 (links guides to primary and secondary schools 2026-27)): read it there before you apply, as arrangements change each year.
