The published figures from last year's offers. They describe what happened then, school by school. They are not a forecast, and they say nothing about any one family's case. Waiting lists are kept in the order of each school's admission criteria (School Admissions Code 2021, 2.15).

Places offered and first preferences: DfE, Primary and secondary school applications and offers (school level, Open Government Licence). "Put it first, not offered it" is DfE's number of first preferences less its number of first-preference offers. Applicants refused: Slough's own offer-day tables, where we hold them; "not held" means we do not have the figure, not that it was nought.
Moving to Slough mid-year
Apply to the council for most schools; some schools take applications directly. Schools in the council's in-year co-ordination scheme (14 primaries and 7 secondaries listed, e.g. Baylis Court, Beechwood, Ditton Park, Lynch Hill, Wexham) are applied for on the council's Citizen Portal. Non-participating schools are applied to directly, including all four grammar schools (Herschel, Langley, St Bernard's, Upton Court), Eden Girls, St Joseph's Catholic High, The Langley Academy and The Westgate School, plus a list of primaries.
- Proof of address: Upload the correct proof with the application (supporting documents list on a download page).
From Slough's own in-year admissions page (1 September 2026 to 31 July 2027 (lists of participating schools)): read it there before you apply, as arrangements change each year.
