Places offered and first preferences: DfE, Primary and secondary school applications and offers (school level, Open Government Licence). "Put it first, not offered it" is DfE's number of first preferences less its number of first-preference offers. Applicants refused: Havering's own offer-day tables, where we hold them; "not held" means we do not have the figure, not that it was nought.

Moving to Havering mid-year

Apply to the council, for any school. The council's School Admissions Team processes in-year applications (In-Year Common Application Form on the parent portal) for all Havering schools and makes one offer, at the highest-ranked school with a place. Each school's admission authority decides on its places.

  • Decision: "We aim to process your application and notify you of the outcome within 10 school days"; maximum 15 school days. Child expected to start within 10 school days of an offer.

From Havering's own in-year admissions page (2026/27 (council publishes In-year coordinated scheme 2026-2027)): read it there before you apply, as arrangements change each year.
